The Blues Crotches

The Blues Crotches, not usually getting the recognition for their musical talent that they truly deserve, were formed in the late 1970's - well before The Blues Crotches movie was ever made.

For the movie, they recorded several popular songs, including "She Caught the Crotch", "Gimme Some Crotchin'", "Shake A Crotch Feather", "Every Crotch Needs Some Crotch To Love", "Theme from Rawcrotch", "Sweet Home Crotch", and of course, "Crotchhouse Rock".

However, unless you are a diehard fan of The Blues Crotches, it is not widely known that the band existed, recorded, and toured extensively both before and after the film. They released several live albums and scored numerous hits with such songs as "Messin' With the Crotch", "Rubber Crotch", "Who's Makin' Crotch", "Going Back to Crotch", "Expressway to Your Crotch", and most notably, "Soul Crotch".

I HAD to get the Blues in there!! Besides, I already had The Crotchman Brothers in mind - they'd just be too similar.
